For those who don't know me , my name is Vaggelis Tripolitakis. I was born 27 years ago in the beautiful city of Chania located in the island of Crete in Southern Greece. Since 1997 I'm studying Electronics and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Crete.

I 've been computer hobbyist since 1992 , when I bought my first PC Compatible (80286@16MHz). Many years have passed ever since and during the last 8 years I 've been a Linux/U*ix and amateur electronics enthusiast. In brief I enjoy microelectronics projects and web backend programming. On top of that I'm involved in the administration of the Unix Servers of the Language Research and Resources Center computer lab (http://www.kegep.tuc.gr). Last but not least I do web frontend & backend design for the customers of NohSYS a small company I founded in 2001.

Apart from spending my time with computers and electronics , I like going excursions with friends , listening to Classic Rock music (mainly) , reading , and of course watching quality movies.
